Highlights—Learn:
Photoshop CS3: Quick Selection Tool
The Quick Selection tool can be used in conjunction with all of the other powerful selection tools in Photoshop. Whether it's simple or complicated image selections, or image area extraction for advanced compositing, the new Quick Selection tool is a real time saver.
Illustrator CS3: Flash Integration
The integrity of critical elements in your Illustrator artwork is now maintained in Flash, with intact paths – and correct anchor point positions – as well as gradients, clipping masks, and symbols. Now you can move back and forth between software more easily and take full advantage of the strengths of Illustrator to create intricate and unique vectors for your animations.
InDesign CS3: Working with Effects
Explore design possibilities directly in your page layout. Apply a variety of Photoshop effects to objects on a page, and experiment with blending modes, opacity, and other options. Quickly and easily edit these nondestructive effects without permanently altering the object. Effects can then be saved as part of an object style for easy reuse or sharing.
